Jinxed originated with Colin Kingsmore on drums, Aaron McWilliams on bass and Matt Dixon on guitar in '96. In October of '98 they recruited Joey Fleming as a second guitarist. All four members were enrolled in the Regional Arts Music Program, located in Brampton Ontario. The band's musical style consisted of Metal and Rap mixed with Funk and Jazz grooves.

  Although tight rhythmically, Jinxed had trouble finding the right singer to compliment the band. After going through three previous singers, the band held auditions in October and November of '99. It was then that they found Johnny Mac. His free-style capabilities blended with creative vocal melodies mixed perfectly with the band's style.

  Jinxed has performed at many venues around Toronto and surrounding areas. Most notable performances were WarpedTour & Farmclub.com. This was aired the week of January 12^th on the USA Networks and Muchmusic.
